Privacy Policy
At The Table / TMP: Track, Move, Patience
Last updated: March 2026
Overview
At The Table is hosted on Substack. When you subscribe, comment, or interact with this publication, Substack collects and processes your data in accordance with its own privacy policy, which you can read here: https://substack.com/privacy. Payments are processed by Stripe, whose privacy policy is here: https://stripe.com/privacy.
This privacy policy covers the additional data processing that I, Will de Korte, carry out as the operator of At The Table and the TMP programme, beyond what Substack and Stripe handle at the platform level. For the purposes of GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018, I am the data controller for this additional processing.
If you have any questions, reply to any At The Table email. It comes directly to me.
What additional data I collect and why
Weekly check-in forms. The Friday check-in forms are hosted on Google Forms. They collect the responses you submit, which may include information about your weight, eating habits, movement, and how you are feeling. I use this data to review progress across the group, improve programme content, and respond to individual participants where appropriate. Google’s own privacy policy applies to any data Google collects through its platform: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Coaching intake forms and session notes. If you enquire about or engage in one to one coaching, I collect the information you provide in the coaching interest form (which may include your name, weight, diet history, eating habits, and reasons for seeking coaching). During coaching, I may take notes to support continuity between sessions. This data is stored securely on my personal devices and is not shared with anyone.
Email correspondence. If you reply to an At The Table email or contact me directly, I will see your email address and the content of your message. I may retain correspondence for as long as it is relevant and periodically delete messages that are no longer needed.
Testimonials and feedback. If you provide feedback through check-ins, comments, or emails that I would like to share publicly (for example, in future articles or marketing), I will always ask for your explicit consent first. You can choose to be identified by first name, by initials, or to remain fully anonymous. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Legal basis
Under GDPR, the lawful bases I rely on are:
Contract for processing data necessary to deliver the programme and coaching services you have paid for.
Legitimate interest for reviewing check-in data to improve programme content and for communicating with subscribers about At The Table and TMP.
Consent for sharing your feedback or testimonials publicly.
Who I share data with
I do not sell your personal data. I do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.
The third party services involved in my data processing beyond Substack and Stripe are:
Google (Google Forms) for hosting weekly check-in forms.
I have no control over how these platforms handle data beyond what their own privacy policies describe.
Data retention
Check-in responses: Retained for the duration of the programme and for up to twelve months afterwards to support programme improvement. After that, deleted or fully anonymised.
Coaching records: Retained for the duration of the coaching relationship and for up to twelve months afterwards, then deleted.
Email correspondence: Retained for as long as relevant, reviewed and deleted periodically.
Testimonials: Retained for as long as you have given consent to share them. Deleted on request.
Your rights
Under GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, reply to any At The Table email. I will respond within one month.
Children
At The Table and TMP are not directed at anyone under 16. I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through At The Table. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
